Announcing Spooktober 2019!

I am back! It has been far too long since I wrote on this site and/or posted a story and I am terribly sorry. The last 4 months have been insane. A lot has happened. My mother passed away from brain cancer in early August after a 2.5 year battle with it. I simultaneously became Head Coach of a college Cross Country team, and thus found myself working what is essentially equivalent of 2 full time jobs. On top of that, I had but a few short weeks to plan and host an entire cross country invitational, (no easy feat) that served as the preview for our conference championship.

So, I have found very little time to write. I have started and stopped several stories, several times. With things slowing down a bit/a lull in the torrent of craziness, I hope to complete those stories and post them relatively soon. In the meantime, it is October, and I would be remiss if I did not post at least one Halloween-themed story on here!

Last year I undertook to post at least one per week during the month of October; that ended up simply being too much and I ended up not writing or posting anything again until the following May. I don't want that to happen again.

So, I am only posting 2 stories this year for Spooktober 2019. They will be shorter pieces. A lighter spirited one (no pun intended) and a rather chilling one, of which I am pretty proud.
